Protocol (at Fire)

Venue opened in 2012 in the back of popular club Fire, whose promoter Orange Nation previously staged events here, among them the Friday/Saturday overnighter A:M. Billed as "bespoke nightlife for the clubbing elite", Protocol promises a party world that's "upmarket yet inclusive, stylish yet unpretentious, sophisticated yet fun". Atypically for a space used by sweaty testosterone-boosted clubbers there are chandeliers and white furniture involved. The club is divided into three separate areas: The Temple (dance space with advanced lighting and sound); Protocol Lounge (versatile space that can be used as a second dance floor or seated area); and a quieter 'luxurious' zone that features four large booths and private washrooms.
