At the dirty crossroads of beards, heavy mascara and filthy east London attitudes stands this boy/girl/etc homo disco started by the Sink the Pink people in 2015 at Bethnal Green's Metropolis Strip Club – a gentleman's domain since the 1980s. But Savage staged its last dance at Metropolis on Saturday 1 June 2019, the resurfaced in July 2021 for a one-off at Between the Bridges in Waterloo. Still homeless, but looking for new premises?
