One of London's more convincing and yummy Malaysian establishments, this hole in the wall in Queensway Market is the domain of Normah Abd Hamid, who switched to cooking professionally after 35 years as accountant for Price Waterhouse. Signature dishes include crispy chicken wings, nasi gorgen chicken, nasi lemak chicken, laksa, mee goreng king prawn, acas nenas (refreshing pineapple/cucumber salad) anything involving her near-ethereal roti, including the beef rendang (slow-cooked beef). Located a one-minute walk from Queensway Tube station. Enter maze-like, Third World-like Queensway Market, walk straight to the end, then turn left and walk straight to the end, with Normah just there on the left.
