Sketch

Boutiquey fantasy dining for the trendy and/or glamorous

Otherworldly, near-ridiculous food/art/glamour enterprise serving cash-talented lovers of fun. Opened in 2002, Sketch features five distinct zones of pleasure and consumption including the 144-seater Gallery, formerly Christian Dior's showroom; the space got a pink makeover in 2014. Food is playful and creative modern French/European, with prices to alienate the hoi polloi. Afternoon tea happens here too. Plus the more intimate 52-cover Lecture Room & Library (fine dining, three MIchelin stars), the Parlour (all-day dining, cocktail and music bar), the Glade (comfort food, breakfast, lunch, cocktails) and the East Bar & Pods, which is connected to the Gallery and therefore fed off its 2014 makeover.
