Italian take on a working man's café

A friendly and welcoming family-run corner café ('caff')/greasy spoon just a short crawl from the bars, this Soho institution feaures an extensive English/Italian menu of comfortingly inexpensive basics, from egg n' chips (US = fried eggs and french fries, best washed down with a cup of tea) to spaghetti bolognese. You get what you pay for, and then some (i.e. generous portions). As of 2022 even mashed avocado on toast has entered the picture. In 2013 the exterior had a makeover.
