Kennington Lane Cafe

(1 Rating)
Sturdy working-man's café with broad appeal, in Vauxhall

Halfway between the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and the Master U leather shop in the thick of gay-ish Vauxhall you'll find this family-run English/Greek café (caff) serving big and inexpensive portions of freshly made food including reliably hot gravy-enriched roast dinners, pasta dishes, moussaka, all-day breakfasts and cold lunches. Opened 1975. One-minute walk from Vauxhall tube station. Now open Sundays too. As of 2001, the café includes a kebab outlet which stays open until about 11pm every night.

Hours
Mon to Fri 7am—4pm
Sat 8am—4pm
Sun 9am—4pm (plus kebabs until 11pm)
