Cult cake enterprise specializing in English classics

German chef Gerhard Jenne arrived on the London scene in 1993, when nearly all the old proper cake shops had been replaced by industrial chains pumping out cardboard cut-outs with icing on top. Now there are five outlets serving Jenne's high-quality, nearly always excellent cakes, biscuits and brownies, with a few quality lunchtime savouries (quiche, pizza etc.) a bonus.
