Reliable, budget and gay-friendly unisex hair hotspot owned since the mid-1990s by Iranian barber Roger Razdar. In 2019 the cuts cost as little as £12. This is a small, narrow and no-fuss space — with just two barber chairs and a wall of framed film stars as decor — located in the shadow of the Palace Theatre, just next to the Coach and Horses pub and immediately around the corner from recommended patisserie Maison Bertaux [see entry]. Other brances can be found further east at 76 Leather Lane and at 61 Fleet Street, the latter address appropriately conjuring up images of a certain 1979 Stephen Sondheim musical (and 1936 film). AKA Roger's The Demon Barber of Soho or Roger's Demon Barbers.
