Marked by humble, late-19th-century roots, Silivermans caters to all parts of the body with gear and accessories of a traditionally manly and sexy nature, from boots to helmuts and everything underneath and in between. This East End institution carries dozens of brand names, including Schott, Red Wing, Belstaff, Barbour, Chippewa, Alpha Industries, Harley-Davidson Footwear, Dr Martens, Caterpillar, Leatherman, Lowa and, in particular, American biker leather masters Vanson. Military surplus and much much more. In 2015 the shop moved round the corner from Harford St to Mile End Rd, with parking available. Closed Saturday and Saturday.

Unhelpful and not recommended.
Looking through the online catalogue i was really surprised at the range of goods that they claimed to have but order on line and you could wait a very long time for your goods. I believe this store buys in bulk, because they certainly do not go out of their way to cater to the requirements of individual customers even for goods they advertise. Their attitude is "we sell what we have if and when we have it and if you don't like it go elsewhere" - so i did and found using the internet more competitive prices even taking into account postal costs. Its a great pity though that the gay community always seems to have to deal with higher prices and poor service. It might be a captive market but in the end, I just say no....you lose my business...end of!
